1. Using the site

By accessing iamantor.com, you agree to these terms. You may browse, read, and link to any page. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not scrape at volume, copy content for commercial republication, or attempt to interfere with the site's operation.

2. Contact form & intent

Submitting the contact form does not create a contract — it starts a conversation. We'll reply within one working day with next steps. Engagements are formalised in a separate signed Statement of Work (SOW).

You confirm that information you submit is accurate, that you have the right to share it, and that the email address you provide is yours.

3. Engagements & SOWs

For each engagement we sign a SOW covering: scope, deliverables, timeline, milestones, fees, change-order process, acceptance criteria, and exclusions. Unless the SOW says otherwise:

• Communications channel — Slack/Email + scheduled standups
• Async response SLA — within one working day (Bangladesh business hours)
• Project management — Linear or Notion, shared with you
• Source code — committed to a repo you own (private GitHub / GitLab)
• Hand-off — written runbook + 30-minute walkthrough

4. Intellectual property

Your IP is yours. All work-product delivered under a paid SOW transfers to you on full payment. We retain:

• Pre-existing tooling, internal libraries, and methodology developed before / outside the engagement (used under a perpetual licence to you)
• Right to reference the engagement publicly (logo + 1-line description) — unless we've signed an NDA covering it
• Aggregated, anonymised performance metrics for our own portfolio/learning

5. Confidentiality / NDA

NDA by default. Information you share during a discovery call, in the form, or during the engagement is treated as confidential. We share it only with team members who need to know, and we don't publish your name or details without explicit consent.

A separate mutual NDA can be signed pre-engagement on request — typically within 24 hours.

6. Payment terms

• Standard split: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery, or milestone-based for longer projects
• Invoices payable within 14 days of issue
• Late payments accrue 1.5% / month (or the local statutory maximum, whichever is lower)
• Accepted methods: bank transfer (BD/UK/SEPA), Wise, Stripe (link), or USDT (USDC) for international
• Refunds: pro-rata for unstarted milestones; no refund for delivered work

7. Warranties & disclaimers

We warrant that our work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Beyond this, deliverables are provided "as is" — we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or fitness for any specific business outcome.

Third-party tools, models, and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS, etc.) remain governed by their own terms; we cannot warrant their availability, accuracy, or behaviour.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our aggregate liability for any engagement is capped at the fees actually paid in the 6 months preceding the claim
• Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption)
• Nothing limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka. For clients in the UK/EU/US, your statutory consumer-protection rights are not affected.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For active engagements, the SOW you signed governs — these terms are only the public default.
